Accross 48 hours, 5 female painters will be taking over The Brick Cube, Clapton.
About
Accross 48 hours, 5 female painters will be taking over The Brick Cube, an industrial space due for demolition in 2017. Artists Katie Brookes, Kathryn Maple, Elizabeth McCarten, Alison Boult and Nikki Gardham, will be working in response to each other and the sheer scale of the space. The 48 hours will culminate in a show, where the artist's studio practise and work made within the space will meet. The shutters open to the outside world from 6-9pm.
