About
4 Scopes is a group exhibition showing four artists' current practice, wandering in different topics and perspectives.Wai Kit Chan (Hector)’s painting expresses the excitation and mental dynamics triggered by martial performance in entertaining culture, at the same times, exploring the way of pictorial dynamics shuttling among single image and multiple images.
James Sirrell’s work focuses on the world of objects, on document, trace, and a need to search.
Joshua Vaughan writes stories with clay, steel, bronze, plywood, wax, latex, silicon… Working much like a prop maker or a set designer, he is expressing an internal world that is unique to himself, yet known to everyone. The story he is weaving takes place somewhere between of the ideologies that govern people’s daily lives, and the myths that people invent to get by.
Elise Broadway’s current body of work explores the conflict with her identity as a young individual from the American South and the current world events and issues that have sparked this realization.
