About

About the artist: ALANNAH WILKINS

'Interpreting Light' – Tuscany, Suffolk and Still life.

'During her career as a painter, Alannah Wilkins has lived in Tuscany and Suffolk, where she has always been inspired to interpret the drama and beauty created by the light on these two different landscapes.

In her paintings she explores the diversity of light and the intensity of colours depending on the time of day and how it transforms the landscape from one moment to the next.
She also applies these observations in her still life work by capturing the moment when light envelopes an object and brings it to life.'
