2by2 is an exhibition containing the work of ten artists from East London. The phrase 2by2 means a specific brief; the work has to include the theme of a ‘two by two' piece of wood. From this starting point the possibilities are limitless, consisting of any media or further concepts. The work ranges from painting to 3d and performance, aiming to push the boundaries of the 2by2 concept and current art practices.
