Moving between 2 and 3 dimensions this five week course experiments with painting and sculptural techniques with artist, Fraser Gray.
About
Through this course participants will learn:
- Techniques to cut, form and manipulate 2D plastics into new 3D forms
- How to turn pre-existing imagery into large-scale freestanding artworks with cardboard and wood
- Use of artist quality spray-paints
- How to design and create complex paint masks with the use of digital software and vinyl cutters

Fraser Gray works across multiple media, specialising in the production of site-specific murals and painted installations, producing large scale public art works internationally. He also has over 10 years experience working as an art educator.
Fraser received an MFA in Contemporary Art Practice from Edinburgh College of Art in 2013 and a BA in Fine Art (First Class Hons) from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in 2008. http://www.frasergray.com/
