24: 2022 - New Horizons

Nineteen years ago, a collective of 24 photographers agreed to document New Year’s Day for the following 24 years. Each artist is allocated one hour to record what is going on around them and each moves forward one hour every year.

Opening in Soho Square, London, on 24 February, 24Photography’s 19th anniversary show promises to pursue its ambitious visual, social documentary. Featuring a number of critically acclaimed artists from across the world, the visual collective continues to respond to the global pandemic, national lockdowns, climate fears and political unrest, documenting the 21st century as it unfolds.

Drawing towards its second decade, the series this year reflects the essence of our human journey, the consequences of a universal mutating disease, its vast influence on personal, societal and political health and our shared ambition to find light within the darkness.
