The Florida Printmakers Society and the University of Miami are welcoming applications for this year's FLPS Biennial, hosted in the Wynwood Gallery in Miami. We encourage international applicants. We're looking forward to reviewing your submissions.


The 2023 Florida Printmakers Society Biennial Exhibition
Organized by the Florida Printmakers Society and the University of Miami
Dates: July 15 to August 15, 2023, Wynwood Art Gallery, University of Miami

Submission Requirements:
-The exhibit is open to all Florida Printmakers Society members. The prints must be made with any generally accepted graphic techniques.
-Each artist can submit a maximum of 3 prints to the jury. Prints must be numbered and signed by the artist and have been produced since January 1, 2021.
-The deadline for submitting artwork online is March 15, 2023.
-The maximum dimension of the print matrix (paper, cloth, etc.) is 11 x 17"
-Each work submitted must be signed, have a title (with an arrow on the back indicating the top of the piece), and indicate the selling price or insurance value in USD (please indicate NFS if not for sale).
-All prints submitted to the jury must be matted with plain white mat board. The outside dimensions for the matting must be 16 x 20” for both the “passe-partout” and the backing board. The prints will be mounted with museum-grade tack.
-All artists should send their works in a simple package without any glass or frame. All works must be shipped flat.
-Artists outside of the US should send an entry package marked “Florida Printmakers Society Biennial” and bear the declaration “No commercial value.”
-Entry packages should be sent to:

If selected, work is due by June 1, 2023.
-If gallery sales are made, FLPS will retain 30%, and artists will receive 70% of the total purchase price.
-The entry package should contain:
-Completed entry form
-Work accepted for the exhibition
-The artist’s résumé (maximum 1 page)
- A short statement about the work submitted (maximum 75 words).
-Prepaid return shipping label.
