Sensational images of our world go on show at the 2019 Sony World Photography Awards Exhibition.

About

This April, exceptional series and standalone images by the best artists working worldwide in photography will go on show at the 2019 Sony World Photography Awards Exhibition at Somerset House, London. Offering an in-depth look at the very best visual storytelling and imagery from 2018, this major exhibition will present more than 800 works. Drawn from more than 326,000 images entered into the internationally acclaimed Awards, the exhibition will present winning and shortlisted images in either digital or print form. The exhibition will also celebrate the work of renowned artist Nadav Kander, recipient of the Awards 2019 Outstanding Contribution to Photography prize.

The exhibition will open on Thursday 18 April with a public artist-in-conversation talk between Nadav Kander and the curator William A. Ewing. Date and venue: 18 April, 19.00-20.30, The Edmond J Safra Lecture Theatre, King’s College London, The Strand. Talk ticket includes anytime access to the Exhibition and cost £25. Hurry!
