The exhibition of work by the three winners, Dannielle Bowman, Sacha Vega and Jenna Westra, will be on view from August 16th to September 8th, 2018. There will be an opening reception on August 16th with a screening in the backyard of work by 15 Honorable Mentions.

Baxter St at CCNY is pleased to announce the results of the 2018 Annual Juried Competition. Juror Matthew Leifheit wrote this about the work submitted: "I am excited to curate a show of recent work by Dannielle Bowman, Sacha Vega and Jenna Westra. To put it broadly, I think these artists are all contributing to a reinvestigation of the ways images are used to construct cultural history, albeit in very different modes and using widely differing approaches and materials. This is an interest I share, and I look forward to learning more about the practices of these artists as the show takes shape."
