A unique evening featuring a medley of talented musicians blending together diverse cultures from Spain and India to create an eccentric symphony of sounds.
Dive into two historical musical worlds of classical Western and Hindustani in a new avatar with Pianist and Composer Sahil Vasudeva performing pieces by the legendary Spanish composer and pianist, Isaac Albéniz infused with an Indian ensemble consisting of artists from Dilli Gharana Suhel Saeed Khan on Sitar and Shahanawaz Khan on Sarangi, joined by Makrand Sanon on Hybrid Percussion. The performance transcribes 150-year-old scores to Hindustani classical text, presenting new interpretations of the Spanish great.
