Jane Benson, Alexandra Harley, Laurence Edwards

Naked is the third and final part of the 2010 series and brings together six sculptors who explore concepts of exposure, vulnerability together with rawness of materials to provoke a sensory response. This is the second set of talks as part of this series and an opportunity to hear the final three sculptors. Jane Benson examines themes of personal and political identiy to probe the legacies of Conceptualism and Surrealism. Alexandra Harley's sculptures convey movement, animation, imbalance and unease by revealing internal structures. Laurence Edwards is inspired by the anatomical structure of man and beast and the rich, textured landscape around him. This is an informal opportunity to see the exhibition, hear the talks and enjoy a glass wine. Exhibition: 2 September - 15 October 2010
