In this exhibition Verónica Ruth Frías reinterprets the Bible with a feminist view. Through seven performances she recreates scenes from the Bible changing the characters for women.
About
Verónica Ruth Frías presents a project that explores the representations of women in history and specifically in religion. For that she recreates scenes from the Bible changing the characters for women. Through performances, she represents scenes as the miracle of feeding the multitude or Jesus walking on water but starring women. The exhibition shows seven videos of the performances and wants to highlight how women have been misrepresented in the narrations that conform our vision of history, society, culture and religion.
