A casual and comfy reading group for 15-25 year olds
About
Come along to a casual and comfy reading group hosted by Khaya Job. Khaya is a local artist, workshop facilitator and singer songwriter. She is best known for her work under Femme Fatale Gals, an annual magazine and empowerment platform that champions mental health, race and feminist issues.
In this session, we’ll be reading excerpts of Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear by Elizabeth Gilbert. Through this book we will be thinking about how we can embrace curiosity, and face fears in order to live our most creative lives.
Food for thought is a relaxed reading space - a place to snack, chat and socialise. Texts will be shared during the session so there is no need to read ahead. If you would like to attend this session and have any concerns, please get in touch with Chan, our youth programmer via email at chantelle@nottinghamcontemporary.org and we’ll try our best to support you.
