147womendinnerparty and installation of 147 pieces are all individually made and dedicated to 147 incredible women of this country who have made the world better. Laid out like a dinner party in homage to Judy Chicago.This piece plays with Brexit, British Identity, philosophy, humanity, history, memory and the collective consciousness of us all.
Why 147? Pythia of Delphi wrote 147 Maxims of how to behave as a human in life. Each Maxim has been fitted to an incredible woman who has created a life less than normal through her own energy, spirit and vision.
All pieces are for sale . A book accompanies the show. The show travels onto The Beecroft Museum Southend in March and Broomhill Estate Sculpture Park Devon, April.
