On the night of the US Presidential election, this event will celebrate the launch of Marisa J. Futernick’s publication 13 Presidents.
About
The event will include readings by Futernick, and a discussion with Gil Leung on ideas of failure and absurdity in relation to the American dream, society’s fascination with authority figures, and the ways in which their identities are constructed. The speakers will consider fiction as a strategy across writing, curating and contemporary art.
