A group of paintings, showing different scenes of the Egyptian revolution which took place back in 2011.

About

1.   Exhibition’s concept I started Sketching back then when all Egyptians were excited about the new changes that happened at that time, and as an artist I had the motivation to record all the positive scenes that I’ve seen in streets like Protests, People’s Committees (PC), Military spread all over the streets, and other unusual phenomena newly appeared in the Egyptian culture in a very short time. Most paintings were lively drawn at Tahrir square specifically on 10th of February 2011, the day before president Mubarak resigns.Other paintings were drawn from inside my car during the hours permitted around in the curfew times. The paintings were unfinished at that time, but after 10 years, I decided to finish them all again, and they are luckily displayed now on the revolution’s 11th memory.Technique: Fine liners, acrylic, and Gouache on Paper.
