Celebrate our 10th annual Photobook Fair with a focus on independent, non-mainstream, grassroots and self-published photobooks and zines.

About

As well as book stalls to enjoy, events will run throughout the day including talks, workshops, advice sessions, book launches, networking over drinks, and more. And back by popular demand, our tombola with lots of photo goodies to be won!

You will also be able to visit our new exhibition which celebrates the work of Café Royal Books, an independent publisher dedicated to post-war photography from Britain with a particular interest in unseen or overlooked work.

Photobook Fair programme of events includes…

Not to be missed, our talk with publisher Craig Atkinson. Published weekly in an accessible and affordable zine format, Café Royal Books have a broad appeal for their photographic and historic interest, charting a fascinating route through British social history.

Daniel Meadows will be joining us for a special event where he will share stories of his illustrious photography career and introduce us to his many publications, with a chance for you to ask questions.

Photographer Diane Bielik will be sharing tops tips for how to self-publish your own photobook and artist Anuhuya Saxena will share their exploration of the British South Asian experience, expressing the isolation and disconnection that can come with having a dual identity, and the celebration of South Asian culture and heritage

At the end of the Photobook Fair come along to our party to celebrate the exhibition Café Royal Books and reflect on the day’s talks and events.
