YEAR 3000 - South Asian Futurisms

Within the global South Asian community lies a vast archive of cultures, spiritualities, and ancient knowledge—much of it buried by colonisation in the name of “progress.” As our world unravels, this wisdom might be exactly what we need to restore balance. But true change requires looking beyond today’s crises, beyond the short-sighted mistakes of history. Place yourself in the year 3000 and imagine new futures: with nature, with technology, with each other. Selected works will be part of a VR exhibition exploring these speculative, layered futures.

Eligibility: Must be of South Asian/ Mixed South Asian heritage

What you get: Selected artists will showcase their work in a globally accessible VR exhibition and be featured across Dhaga’s social channels, connecting with a wider creative community.
