Call for Digital Artist Residency/Submissions: OPENFEED 2025

Open to all subject matter. We encourage artists to explore any theme or concept that resonates with their practice. However, we will not accept hate speech or subject matter that is discriminatory.
Eligibility:
Artists working in Media Arts are eligible to apply, including but not limited to those creating interactive installations, generative art, sound art, video art, software art, kinetic digital sculptures, circuit bending, electronics-based art, robotic art, light art, bio-responsive art, performances, and participatory works such as workshops or classes
What You Get:
- Artist Stipend: $500
- Travel Stipend: $500/week for Onsite Residents located more than two hours from FEED.
- Onsite Residencies: Two-week residencies scheduled within the exhibition dates. All onsite residency artwork will be included in an exhibition at FEED before December 31, 2025. Specific dates will be discussed and determined in consultation with FEED’s Artistic Director.
- Facilities Access: Onsite Residents will have access to FEED Media Art Center’s tools and spaces.
- Public Program Participation: Onsite Resident artists are required to participate in a public program during their residency or exhibition period (subject to scheduling). Public programs can include artist talks, demonstrations, hands-on workshops, interactive classes, etc. Topics and logistics for workshops or classes will be discussed with and subject to approval by FEED’s Artistic Director.
