Artelier has an exciting new opportunity for a hybrid role of Sales/Marketing Coordinator and Art Consultant. Artelier is a leading Art Consultancy and Curatorial Services company with its head office in Bristol, UK and European office in Granada, Spain. Working internationally across Europe, Middle East, North Africa and Southeast Asia, the company’s portfolio of projects includes public art/exhibitions, artist estate services, private residential, yachts/aviation, corporate collections and high-end hotels. The hybrid role consists of two core strands of work, which at times may be independent and at others they will seamlessly crossover. We are looking for a talented individual with solid marketing track record and an ‘eye on the prize’, complemented with a deep passion and knowledge of contemporary and modern art.
Role Outline – Marketing/Sales Coordinator
- Feed your art knowledge and industry understanding into an effective marketing plan.
- Research, development and execution of successful SEO strategies and online presence.
- Sophisticated and technical art and design related writing with solid SEO structuring.
- Expertise with other online platforms, such as Pinterest and LinkedIn.
- LinkedIn marketing through creation of video posts & article sharing in Buffer scheduler, identifying new opportunities to develop LinkedIn strategy.
- New research and development in this field of SEO, social media and online marketing.
- Research and develop new marketing opportunities in the widest sense.
- Sales would form part of the marketing activity, actively researching and developing new leads and contacts in the industry.
Role outline – Art Consultant
Alongside your marketing work you will be supporting the company in its art research and art consultancy for projects.
- Tuned-in to latest trends in the art market, savvy at identifying new talent and research-led in your approach.
- Support the team with its contextual research and development of artistic direction for the projects – a process which will inform the artwork direction.
- Produce written content for website, company brochures, and project presentations.
- Work with design software, inc InDesign and Photoshop, to produce presentations and client documents for consultancy work.
- Support on our new artist estate projects with cataloging systems and management.
- Research and build on knowledge and understanding of artistic mediums, techniques and materials.
- Further develop knowledge of art history and wider movements and contextualise our work.
Eligibility: Education and experience
- Educated to degree level or Masters in either marketing, business, an arts related subject (Fine Art, History of Art, Design) or English.
- At least two-years post-graduate experience working on successful marketing strategies.
- Particular knowledge and specialism in SEO and latest developments.
- Evidence of writing engaging and effective marketing material and articles.
- Experience of tech, layout and design work for websites and social media platforms, including Instagram, Pinterest and LinkedIn.
- Excellent graphic and design proficiency, with experience in software including Adobe suite, in particular InDesign and Photoshop.
- Sales and client liaison experience desirable .
- Passion for modern and contemporary art, with demonstrable post studies professional experience.
- Evidence of writing academically rigorous and contextually relevant art and design essays/critiques.
- Artist estate / collections management desirable.
What you get: Full-time 5 days/ 37.5 hrs per week (part time may be considered) / salary industry competitive. Office based in either Bristol, UK or Granada, Spain.
