Somerset Artist Residency 2025

East Quay is pleased to offer a 5-week residency to a Somerset-based artist, in our sought-after Studio 10 Project Space here at East Quay. The residency will run as part of our contribution to this year’s Somerset Arts Week’s Open Studios Festival, which will take place between Saturday 13 - Sunday 28 September 2025. We are accepting applications from artists working in all mediums. The residency dates are Saturday 30 August - Sunday 5 October 2025 inclusively.

Eligibility: This is an opportunity for a Somerset-based artist, living and/or working in Somerset. Artists of all ages and nationalities are welcome to apply. We are accepting applications from artists working in all mediums.

What you get: Production budget and honorarium of £1,200 (inclusive of VAT). Artists will have studio space for the duration of 5 weeks, and receive a stipend for the residency. They will have the chance to meet other studio artists working at East Quay and the opportunity to engage with the public during a busy period. Their residency will be publicised on our website, social media, leaflets etc and have the opportunity to sell work during the residency.
