Open Call for the Reclaiming Post-Industrial Futures residencies in Romania

Reclaiming Post-Industrial Futures is a multi-residency programme exploring forgotten industrial heritage sites in Romania as places for collaboration and community building, designed and developed by EUNIC Romania. It involves eight cultural institutions operating in Romania - the British Council, the Czech Centre, the Embassy of the Netherlands, the French Institute, the Italian Institute for Culture, the Cervantes Institute, the Polish Institute and Fundația9, each engaged in supporting one residency. The project was framed by this consortium of European partners, in collaboration with curator Ilinca Păun.
Eligibility: Interdisciplinary artists, architecture historians, architects/landscape architects, anthropologists, community organisers from Czech Republic, Italy, UK, France, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain and Romania
What you get: Two weeks at various dates between July to August 2025 in post-industrial cities across Romania.
