Residency with Film London x Brent Archives

Film London Artists’ Moving Image Network (FLAMIN), London’s Screen Archives (LSA) and Brent Museum and Archives are excited to announce a new residency for an artist to undertake a period of research and respond to the history and ongoing legacy of the British Empire in Brent.

Eligibility: Artists who work with moving image as part of their practice Artists based in London Preference will be given to artists with a connection to Brent (i.e. currently or previously living or working in Brent, or with other strong links with the area)

What you get: Fees The selected artist will receive: £3,000 to support their research. (This is estimated based on 10-12 days of work e.g. one day per week across 12 weeks). £3,200 to deliver a public-facing response developed from research undertaken over the residency period. This includes the artist’s fee and additional costs involved in the residency outcome (e.g. clearances of archival material).
