November PleinAir Salon Online Art Competition

The 14th Annual PleinAir Salon is an online art competition with 12 monthly cycles, open to a variety of mediums and styles. It’s not just for plein air painters! Each month, we invite top master artists, museum directors, and gallery owners to serve as judges. All monthly winners are automatically entered into the Annual Competition, where the Grand Prize winner receives $15,000 and has their painting featured on the cover of PleinAir Magazine, the leading representational art magazine available at Barnes & Noble.

Eligibility: Artists are welcome to submit as many paintings as they wish, across as many categories as they like. There are 19 categories in total.

What you get:

• Grand Prize: $15,000, with your painting featured on the cover of PleinAir Magazine.
• Annual Awards: $7,500 in additional cash prizes, including Second and Third Place, People’s Choice Award, three Honourable Mentions, and four Best Medium Awards.
• Monthly Awards: $2,150 in cash prizes awarded to monthly winners.

Entry Fees: It’s free to create an account, after which you’ll pay for each of your entries. The first entry costs $38, with subsequent entries priced at $16 each. Sign up before the 15th to take advantage of an Early Bird Discount. You can submit as many paintings as you like across multiple categories—the more you enter, the better your chances of winning!
