Make Your Own Masters 2025
Updated: 21 November 2024
Applications are now open, in a bid to find the 10 new creatives who will form the multidisciplinary collection of 2025. Make Your Own Masters (MYOM) is a creative learning movement looking to tackle the ‘drop off’ between university and industry. Each year the project builds a multi-disciplinary, multi-background collective, bringing people together to forge a year of self-directed learning, and breaking down the barriers many face in pursuit of a creative career. MYOM supports those from underrepresented backgrounds struggling to access the creative industry.
Eligibility: Open to anyone from any creative discipline that has faced a barrier to learning or industry. Participants should be able to commute to London for monthly sessions.
What you get: An 18-month part-time experimental learning system including mentorship, brief sourcing from industry, and specialized training. Participants receive a £400 programming fee and a £600 event budget.
Deadline 14 December 2024
