Artist in Residence
Digital Residencies Open Call
Updated: 14 September 2021
IMT is inviting applications from artists working in multimedia art practices to join our new Digital Residencies programme.
Eligibility: The open call is open to all multimedia artists and free to apply.
What you get: Digital Residencies is an experimental project which works with audience subscriptions, with proceeds shared between residency artists and IMT (through our non-profit status). The residency will allow an open studio approach, giving artists the opportunity to talk about their practice “behind the scenes” to subscribers as well as access to the inner workings of a contemporary art gallery in London. The artists will be supported over the course of the project with skillshares. This includes mentoring in the development of their work by curators Dr Kirsten Cooke and Dr Mark Jackson, and in professional practice, with an emphasis on social media marketing with Director Lindsay Friend.
