AR Artist Commission: We AR Windermere Jetty Museum

We are looking for a digitally literate artist who is committed, challenged and curious to co-create accessible and meaningful work to help us deliver our new Augmented Reality venture We AR Windermere Jetty Museum at Lakeland Arts.

We AR Windermere Jetty Museum is a simple, innovative idea which lends itself well to the medium of an augmented reality experience on hand-held devices via an app.

Interactive, informative, playful and/or participatory in approach, the work will activate the site. The ambition is to create a site-specific AR work that will appeal to a wide range of audiences and increase our understanding of how digital can encourage new audiences, increase activity, lengthen dwell time and the resulting cultural impact and visitor appeal of the site and collection.

Eligibility: We are looking for a digitally literate artist who is committed, challenged and curious to co-create accessible and meaningful work to help us deliver our new Augmented Reality venture.
