MMMAD Festival: Post-digital landscapes

SMTH with the collaboration of MMMAD and thanks to the sponsorship of Nhood , they launch the first international call for digital artists on the screens of Vialia Vigo. Under the theme ' Post-Digital Landscapes' ( Landscapes post-digital ), we look for works that reflect on the territory, the landscape, the city and space in the post-digital era.

The landscape of the city of Vigo has been transformed with the construction of Vialia Vigo, a new 122,000 m2 macro-building designed by the American architect Thom Mayne, which acts as a new 'gateway' to this city. A train and bus station, a shopping center, a park and, now, a space for the exhibition of digital art.

It is in this place where 5 innovative large-format screens are located, new communication devices created by SMTH, which will now host a new digital art exhibition program.

From all the works received, a jury of experts will select the best five , which will receive a prize of € 1,500 each and will be exhibited at Vialia Vigo from December 20, 2021 to February 20, 2022.

What you get: The five selected artworks will be exhibited in Vialia Vigo and receive a €1,500 award each.
