Call for Proposals: A Bigger Canvas, National Trust Flatford Mill
Updated: 20 May 2021
Working in close partnership with the National Trust and their team at Flatford Mill in Dedham Vale, Suffolk, Essex Cultural Diversity Project is inviting proposals as part of our commissioning programme for 2021-22.
Essex Cultural Diversity Project commissions provide an opportunity for creative practitioners and artists to create new work and explore diversity and develop their socially engaged and participatory practice. The projects capture the spirit of place. This commission should aim to connect with communities and give people a platform to engage with the core subject meaningfully; the 200th anniversary of The Hay Wain by artist John Constable.
Eligibility: UK-based artists and practitioners
What you get out of it: Commission budget of £10,000 (including VAT) and will be treated as a grant.
