arebyte: Open Screen

Developed in partnership with Shape Arts, Open Screen seeks proposals for new works that respond to the theme of Realities, as part of arebyte on Screen, arebyte’s expanded and innovative online platform.

arebyte is inviting digital artists self-identifying as disabled to apply who work with technology to their advantage, or overcoming barriers, criticising matters of inclusivity within technology, and everything in between. Open Screen is actively aiming to address an area of underrepresentation in the art industry.

Eligibility: Open to 18+; no restriction regarding location; practitioner working in the digital realm who identifies as ‘disabled’ under the Social Model of Disability, regardless of impairment; work must be able to be exhibited online, and must be new.

What you get out of it: £850 towards production of the new online work, curatorial support from arebyte, exhibition, exposure and representation through arebyte on Screen.
