The Rosetta Arts Artist Accelerator supports local creative practitioners who are skilled and want to strengthen their practice in collaborative and participatory arts.
To apply for one of the six places on the 2022 programme, send a CV and a statement (no more than two pages A4 plus annexes if you want to provide examples of work) telling us:
- why this is the right time in your career for you to be part of the Artist Accelerator
- how you will use it to develop your practice in order to benefit the community.
Eligibility: Artists based in Newham or wider east London who want to strengthen their practice in collaborative and participatory arts.
What you get: Studio space in Rosetta Arts for 12 months; Access to Rosetta Arts team of advisors; 6 x 2 hours mentoring sessions with selected professional as mentor; 6 masterclasses on topics related to shared needs of selected practitioners; Bursaries up to £1,600, to cover materials, travel and tech support; A commission to work in a local community, designing and delivering a range of arts-based Social Action Projects in the community, coached and mentored by Rosetta Arts practitioners (mandatory); Additional ad hoc arts commissions (optional); Access to Rosetta Arts networks; Exhibition of work as part of an arts trail in East Village.
