OPEN CALL 2021 - POLDRA - Public Sculpture Project Viseu

POLDRA Project promotes site-specific contemporary public art/art in Public Space. POLDRA seeks works that propose new interpretations of the sites and spaces as well as encourage interaction between the viewer and the sites themselves.

In 2021 we're seeking to extend an open sky, public art circuit, established in the Mata do Fontelo, a historic park in Viseu, Portugal. With this purpose, we're opening a call looking for site-specific artwork proposals. This is primarily addressed to visual artists who work in the fields of installation, painting, sculpture and media art. Applications from artists groups are welcome. Submissions are free and they must be specifically conceived for Mata do Fontelo (a historic urban Woods setting).

Eligibility: Visual artists who work in the fields of installation, painting, sculpture and media art

What you get out of it: Selected proposals will benefit from the financial support of 3000 euros (taxes included) divided as follows: author’s fee (1500 euros); materials/production (1500 euros).
