John Moores Painting Prize 2020

The John Moore Painting Prize brings together the best in contemporary British painting. Supporting artists from all over the UK – whether they’re undiscovered, emerging or established in their careers – the prize provides a platform for artists to inspire, disrupt and challenge the British painting art scene.
The First Prize winner will receive a cash prize of £25,000. There are four further prizes of £2,500 and the Visitors' choice prize of £2,020. New for 2020 is the Emerging Artist prize of £2,500 sponsored by Winsor and Newton, which also includes premium art materials to the same value, a residency and display, along with mentoring to support their artistic development.
