Artist in Residence
Funded Residency, Research and Development Opportunity for UK & Internationally-based Artists
Updated: 31 October 2019
Battersea Arts Centre and dramaturg/researcher Duška Radosavljević from the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama are collaborating on a research project designed to explore ways in which performance works that have an emphasis on speech and sound are created.
As part of this we are hosting a funded research and development residency for 2 UK-based artists and 1 artist based outside of the UK, to evolve a new piece of performance with an emphasis on speech and sound.
We are looking for applications from all sectors of the artistic community including D/deaf and disabled people, trans and/or non-binary people, migrants and artists from other underrepresented, diverse and ethnic minority backgrounds.
Deadline 25 November 2019
