30 years ago, here in Berlin, Germany, it has been the peaceful unity of the people that made the impossible come true - and made the wall come down. Today we see so many conflicts in the world, where people stand up for their rights, their freedom, their present and their future - in solidarity with the peaceful change makers in Lebanon, Iraq, Chile, Brazil, Hong Kong and everywhere, we dedicate the Social Art Award to the people: "We are the people - Peaceful revolutions through the power of the many" - Can Art Catalyze Change?!
