Discovery Artist Call Out 2018-2019 – Lithuania

Pavilion Dance South West (PDSW), the Lithuanian Culture Institute and the Lithuanian Embassy in the UK are collaborating to offer a Dance Artist or Company, based in, or with a direct connection to Lithuania the opportunity to become a Discovery Artist with us.
Being a Discovery Artist with PDSW enables us to get to know each other. We are curious about creating a supportive relationship with you, your work and exploring creative partnerships between Lithuania and the U.K. We want to assist you in developing your dance practice and we hope this programme will allow us to indulge in creative conversations inside and outside the studio. You may wish to explore new ideas, connect with British and Eastern-European communities or respond with creative outcomes and audience initiatives. This may help you further consider your practice or perhaps create new work for a professional context. Whatever your ambition, this is a testing ground and PDSW will be here to support you.
The residencies will take place in early January 2019.
