Artist in Residence – You ARE Here!

Brunel University is seeking an Artist in Residence for a project beginning this autumn that aims to creatively explore the University’s physical location on the outskirts of London, while valorising the diversity and experiences of our staff and students alike.
Entitled ‘You ARE here!’ the residency will take place at Brunel’s Uxbridge campus between October 2018 and June 2019, with a salary of £21,000.
We are looking for an early-to-mid-career artist, whose practice could be centred in any of the arts, but whose dynamism leads them to be engaged with all. Applicants should have an interest in celebrating the diversity of heritages represented by our staff and student bodies through enhancing a sense of physical rootedness and by engaging with the dynamics of place-and-space to re imagine our regional identity.
