Sound Art Residency and Installation - Ideas of Noise Festival

Ideas of Noise is an exciting new festival of experimental sound taking place August 3rd-5th in Digbeth, Birmingham with a focus on connecting experimental audiences and performers of different genres across the West Midlands and creating opportunities for emerging and established local artists.
We are looking to commission a new sound based installation to run throughout the festival, responding to “Ideas of Noise” and offer a studio residency. Applications from artists working in all mediums and disciplines that incorporate sound are welcome . Artists should be based in or from the West Midlands.
The artist will have access to 6 weeks’ studio and workshop space at The Lombard Method and a £400 fee inclusive of materials.
