Open Call for ARS BIOARCTICA Residency Programme
Updated: 28 June 2018
We are glad to announce an open call for our Ars Bioarctica residency program at the Kilpisjärvi Biological station of the University of Helsinki in the subarctic Lapland for the years 2019-2020.
The residency offers a unique possibility for artistic work in a biological field station and in the subarctic environment of Finland. As in the previous years, the residency is not funded.
We will select around 20 artists/artist groups to work at the station for periods from one week up to several months, the desired length of the visit should be stated in the application and it depends on the individual funding and needs of the proposed project.
Deadline 31 August 2018
