The Other MA (TOMA) alternative art education model open call

Essex’s first alternative art MA, TOMA, launched last September with ten artists on the course. After a successful first six months, the new alternative post-graduate education programme TOMA (The Other MA) has launched an open call in a bid to find its second cohort of artists. Based at Metal Art School in Chalkwell Park, the experimental course is the first of its kind to run in Essex and is a year-long programme that is shaped and directed by the TOMA artists. The programme is open now for applications from artists who already have at least five years strong practice and are interested in accessing alternative ways of learning.
