STIFF - Student International Film Festival

STIFF - Student International Film Festival is calling on all student and debutant filmmakers to submit their films for the 4th STIFF which will take place from 19th to 22nd October 2017 in Rijeka, Croatia.
STIFF strives to educate the audiences about the quality of work of emerging filmmakers by connecting them with the best works from all around the world. All the festival screenings are entirely free of charge.
This year STIFF puts a focus on Social Issues films of all genres. Submissions in this category are free of charge until the early bird deadline (20 February 2017). For the first time STIFF will accept first films in category of Debutant Film-independently made by filmmakers after finishing the film school.
Works entering a competition must be original, student created films or debutants films (First time independently produced films after finishing the film school). All the works need to be up to 60 min in length and completed after 1st of January 2015. In order to be considered for STIFF selection, the materials must be in English or presented with English subtitles. Films must be submitted via FilmFreeway, screeners must be password protected and not available for public online stream.
