The Fourth Plinth is located in the north-west corner of Trafalgar Square, opposite the Sainsbury Wing of the National Gallery. The Fourth Plinth Programme was launched to introduce contemporary art to Trafalgar Square on the vacant plinth in a rolling programme of new commissions.
