Featuring a selection of nine outstanding artists from all over the world including representation from Germany, Switzerland, USA and Australia, as well as local artists from the UK whose body of work offers an in-depth understanding of the contemporary practice of using paper as the primary medium. Through the captivating black and white prints by Roy Leader exploring opposites and their balance, the colourful and dynamic abstract ink and watercolour works by Jeanne Aman and the highly detailed paper cut works by Clare Skill evoking valuable memories, we invite you to discover the dispersion of shapes and colours as well as different techniques and themes in the two dimensional plane of paper. You are warmly invited to join the exhibiting artists for a drink at the opening night of WORKS ON PAPER at The Brick Lane Gallery from 6pm-8.30pm on Wednesday 29th October 2014.
