Join specialist sugarcraft tutor Christina Ludlam for a one-off workshop and create your own Christmas cake masterpiece inspired by Geoffrey Preston's exhibition A Symphony of Curves.

About

Starting with the flawless fondant covering, you will learn a variety of sugarcraft techniques and use a collection of moulds inspired by the decorative details displayed in A Symphony of Curves. You will create a selection of decorations, including handmade sugar flowers, leaves and berries, before completing your design with piped royal icing borders and fine detail. Christina Ludlam has established herself as a true expert in her field. Having over 25 years' experience producing edible works of art, including the sugar-work for Artist, Jane Wildgoose's, ‘Life is Very Sweet' exhibition at The Harley Gallery. A 6 inch rich fruit cake is provided. Alternatively you may like to bring your own marzipan covered Christmas cake. Booking is essential as places are limited.
