Drawing is a very important part of Alison's practice. Her paintings and drawings often centre around real and fictional spaces and structures. Novels and Cinema as well as working from life and architecture allow her to explore these boundaries between real and fictional situations and events.
Alison studied at the University of Creative Arts Farnham and Brighton University, and in 2013 graduated from the Princes Drawing School. She is Windsor and Newton's current Artist in Residence and has recently been selected for the 2014 Derwent Art Prize.
