This one day course begins at New Walk Museum and Art Gallery with a short bespoke Curator's tour of the ARTIST ROOMS Georg Baselitz exhibition. You will spend some time sketching in the gallery space, before returning to Leicester Print Workshop to create your own drypoint prints inspired by the work on show. This technique produces a wonderfully soft, velvety line that can be seen at its best in Baselitz's Gothic Maiden series of prints. This course accompanies the ARTIST ROOMS Georg Baselitz exhibition taking place at New Walk Museum and Art Gallery, Leicester from 20 September 2014 — 15 January 2015.
