NEW FIRM - 47 Glasgow School of Art Graduates
NEW FIRM presents the next generation of emerging artists from The Glasgow School of Art in a multi-disciplinary group exhibition that includes painting, printmaking, photography, video and sculpture.
The Glasgow School of Art has produced many widely acclaimed artists including two of the most recent Turner Prize winners. The school’s worldwide renown helps to promote Glasgow as one of the most vibrant cities for the visual arts in the UK alongside London. The biannual Glasgow International Festival of Visual art is testament to Glasgow’s ever-increasing reputation, relevance and creative output. Many of the artists in this exhibition will go on to contribute to Glasgow's expanding art scene and to the development of the visual arts elsewhere in the UK and internationally.
