THE BOOK OF INVISIBLE BRIDGES
Fourteen artists respond to The Book of Invisible Bridges, a Galician/English collection of texts written by Xelís de Toro. Within the pages are found an array of mysterious images: a falling man, a photographer’s dream, searching feet, a painter’s staircase, and most importantly, blank pages. The corresponding texts and fragments of writing serve as catalysts for a body of multi-disciplinary and collaborative works encompassing film, poetry, photography, illustration, installation, sculpture and painting.
The artists include: Bish, Ed Briggs, Chévere, Circa69, Bruno Humberto, Yael Karavan, Fredrik Lloyd, Fran Pérez –Narf, Linda Remahl, Matt Rudkin, Dolores Sánchez Calvo , Jim Sanders, Jonathan Swain and Prue Waller
