Bureau is pleased to announce that Paul Needham has been selected to be the 2007 Artist in Residence. The residency offers a two-month opportunity for an artist to engage in a period of research and production, and aims to be of benefit at a critical stage in their career.

Paul Needham lives and works in Manchester, UK. He studied BA Art & Social Context at U.W.E, Bristol, and completed MA Fine Art at Manchester Metropolitan University in 2002. He has exhibited extensively in the UK, Europe and the USA. Needham's practice incorporates drawing, film, installation and sculpture. His previous works have engaged with the notion of repetition in contemporary culture, explored attitudes to work ethic, and ideas at play in aspects of minimalist sculpture.
