Mark Dean’s distinctive video works are characterised by the use of appropriated clips lacerated from feature films and popular music and their ability to bring the most fundamental aspects of the human condition to our attention.

This is the second in the Beaconsfield series Phase which turns the spotlight on mid-career artists with whom the organisation has a significant relationship. Alongside new works made for The Beginning of the End, visitors will have the opportunity to select and view videos from Dean’s back catalogue.
